Edmonton, AB - April 5, 2024 - The Junior Prospects Hockey League (JPHL) proudly announces the addition of South Sask HC as its latest member Hub, marking an exciting expansion for elite hockey in the Moose Jaw, SK area.
Operated by the highly regarded South Sask Hockey Academy of the Hockey Super League (HSL), South Sask HC brings a wealth of experience and dedication to player development. With a strong foundation built at the younger ages within the HSL, the integrated pathway into the JPHL is exciting from all aspects of on and off ice development while providing athletes an opportunity to access an elite hockey model close to home. Additionally, this will provide the South Sask HC teams incredible exposure opportunities and experiences while competing against top teams across Alberta and BC.
The newest Hub will commence its inaugural season in the 2024-25 campaign with a 14U team, showcasing the talent and commitment synonymous with the South Sask Hockey Academy. This inaugural team represents the beginning of an exciting journey for athletes in the Moose Jaw area, offering them a platform to hone their skills and compete at a high level within the JPHL.
