[Edmonton, AB, April 3, 2024] - The Junior Prospects Hockey League (JPHL) is excited to announce a groundbreaking Player Transfer Agreement (PTA) with the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL). This strategic partnership opens up a myriad of development opportunities for student-athletes within the JPHL, further solidifying its’ status as the premier youth hockey league in Western Canada.
This agreement encompasses many benefits to enhance the development and exposure of JPHL players. "We look forward to continuing to educate all athletes and their families about the options available to them at a critical time in their development.”
“While the JPHL is open to work together with many hockey stakeholders, the PTA provides a seamless pathway for its players to ascend to some of the highest levels of junior hockey and beyond.” Richard Nault, Commissioner of the JPHL, stated, "We are thrilled to formalize this agreement with the BCHL, a league renowned for its excellence in player development and commitment to advancing the sport of hockey.
