DEVELOPMENT MODEL

TRAINING STANDARDS

We believe our athletes should receive a comprehensive development program that includes:

On-ice development

  • Regular sessions focused on overall game skills, technical application, and position-specific training.

Specific skill development

  • Skating

  • Puck handling and control

  • Game sense and situational awareness

  • Technical skill application

  • Goaltender-specific training, where applicable

Off-ice development

  • Mental training

  • Strength and conditioning

  • Sports performance and wellness activities

ELITE ATHLETE SERVICES – MENTAL TRAINING

Our goal is to guide and support athletes—both amateur and professional—so they can reach their full potential while competing at the highest level and during transitions in their careers.

We take a holistic approach to health and wellness, providing specialized services delivered by experienced professionals with backgrounds in professional sports. Our services focus on cognitive and mental health, including concussion management, baseline testing, athlete identity transition, and sports performance.

In addition, we maintain a network of trusted providers to ensure athletes have access to the highest quality care when needed.

CONCUSSION MANAGEMENT

Effective management of sports-related concussions requires a comprehensive, evidence-based approach. We provide consultation and support to help organizations develop concussion management plans and policies tailored to their athletes.

Key components may include:

  • Concussion education

  • Medical management protocols

  • Return-to-play guidelines

CONCUSSION BASELINE TESTING

Baseline testing is an essential part of concussion management. Our program assesses areas critical to athlete safety and recovery, including:

  • Symptom reporting

  • Cognitive function

  • Psychosocial well-being

  • Balance and coordination

Testing uses validated tools, such as sideline assessment instruments, standardized mental health screenings, and advanced neuro-testing technology. Services include:

  • Baseline testing for athletes

  • Training for medical teams

  • Data management and tracking

  • Post-concussion consultation

  • Guidance on recovery from adverse events

POST-CONCUSSION REHABILITATION

Returning athletes to play after a concussion follows scientific protocols, not just medical clearance. We provide evidence-based rehabilitation practices validated by clinical research to ensure safe and effective recovery.

MENTAL HEALTH ASSESSMENT

Athlete mental health is closely tied to performance and injury risk. Our comprehensive mental health programs help support well-being, reduce injury risk, and enhance performance through stress management and overall psychological care.

SPORTS PERFORMANCE

Optimizing athlete performance involves multiple factors including recovery, injury prevention, sleep, nutrition, and mental preparation. We provide support ranging from single workshops or individual consultations to long-term organizational planning that evaluates current practices and provides a roadmap for improvement based on the latest scientific evidence.
